Rather self-explainatory. Yes, you have to read all of this. You may be one of those whiners who thinks it's a lot. But get used to it. You're joining a roleplay for goodness sake ^^

[ ]Relations
There's a lot going on here. You can keep tabs on characters' relationships on this board, and establish some before actually roleplaying. After all, if you're new to the site, but your characters a senior student, they're bound to know some people, even if it's only their history teacher.

[ ]Adoption
Having trouble coming up with a character? Feel free to use one of these. Instead of going to the Apply board, post on the thread of the character you'd like, showing your capability of roleplaying them.

Or, if you're a member of the site looking to leave, you can if you'd like, abandon your character here for someone else to use.

Currently available: None. Whoops.

[ ]Profile (3 sub-boards)
Once accepted, you can post a profile of your character here (probably something rather similar to your application). Then others can view a little bit on your character. (If you wish to set up a "schedule" of your characters classes, feel free to include it here.)

in How it works
Main Building
[ ]Entrance Hall
This hall is the first place you see when entering the castle. It's pretty big and useless, but not at all empty. Most students can't help but take a few minutes to gawk at the mass amounts of odd paintings and glass encased artifacts. Of course, who can really be sure it's simply glass with this place?
00
[ ]Dining Hall
The Dining Hall's purpose, clearly, is to dine. On occasion it also become a place to hold various school events. It is always decorated accordingly.

Breakfast, usually served at 8 am, usually gets cold by 9. Unless you plan on having say, cereal, though much more appetizing things are servec. Lunch, typically at 12, is the simpler meal of the day. Although it probably gives you the most variety of sandwiches you've ever seen. Dinner, served about 6, tends to be the best meal of the day. You can always find something spectacular to eat, even foods from various cultures, as well as different desserts on various nights.
00
[ ]Classrooms (12 sub-boards)
Classrooms at this school are more or less scattered about the building. The interiors are usually quite the same. Some classes are mandatory to take; others are the students' choice.
00
[ ]Gym
Various classes to keep in shape are held in one part of the gym during different parts of the day. The gym is always open to those with free time looking to workout.
00
[ ]Library
Of course this school like any other has a library. And a pretty amazing one at that. Wall to wall, floor to ceiling, and countless isles of shelving and books, and still room for comfy couches and even some computers. Yes. We have computers. All this makes some students wonder how everything in this school fits. They must still be getting used to the magic...
00
Dorms
[ ]Boys' Dorm (4 sub-boards)
The boys' dormitory can be found easily by anyone with a decent nose to follow. No ones saying the boys are actually that unhygienic, the common room has just always been a bit foul smelling. Many times the boys are up at night searching for some graduated students dead animal hidden under couches. Aside from that, the dorms themsevles are actually quite pleasant. Rooms occupy three students, and has its own bathroom. Students are allowed to paint and decorate their rooms if roommates are in agreement.

You will be given a room upon your acceptance to the school unless you are living in town. If you have a complaint about the room or your roommates, take it up at the office.

[ ]Girls' Dorm (4 sub-boards)
The girls' dormitory often smells quite the opposite to the boys', which actually manages to get on nerves. Some girls just don't like smelling roses and daffodils constantly. Aside from that, the dorms are actually quite pleasant. Rooms occupy three students, and has its own bathroom. Students are allowed to paint and decorate their rooms if roommates are in agreement.

You will be given a room upon your acceptance unless you are living in town with family. If you have a complaint about the room or your roommates, take it up at the office.

School Grounds
[ ]The Forest
A seemingly harmless woodland that can easily turn into something insanely frightening. The occasional sounds of howls and yelps are normal, but the other noises that come from within often keep students away, or draw them in from curiousity. You can in fact find Centaurs, friendly or foul, wolves that are more horrible than they lead on, and perhaps others related to those in the Swamp.
00
[ ]The Conservatory
Found outside, close to the gardens, this greenhouse often times serves as the classroom for classes such as botany. Or, it's a good place for students with green thumbs to come relax.
00
[ ]Gardens
The gardens are much like an outdoor conservatory. Except for the plants that could kill you... Nope out here all the plants are harmless. We can't, however, be sure the same goes for the wildlife.

[ ]The Lake
Also known on occasion as The Swamp, as the water seems to change from a nice deep blue to sometimes sickening green. No ones entirely sure what type of things live in the waters, or what they do that causes the water to change. Experiment at your own risk.

[ ]The Stables
Some of the schools, as well as some students', larger creatures are housed here. Namely Wyverns, Unicorns, and other such strange things. Students can help clean up the stables for some extra credit, or just visit the animals.

*Jobs available
00
[ ]The Aviary
Again, it's not Harry Potter, there is no Owlery, but we do use birds often for messages. I mean, our students come from many places. Owls can't live just anywhere and would seem out of place in some regions. So there's quite a few species here, both owned by students, and others owned by the school.
00
Downtown
[ ]The Mall
Actually, it's more like a mini mall. All stores necessary to survive. Students are given lists of items to bring, but if they forget or lose something, this is the place to come to find something new. It's small enough that people may think it's unworthy of being called a mall, but it's got pretty much any type of store necessary. Shop to your hearts content.

*Jobs available
00
[ ]Town Square
Complete with fountain, benches and shrubbery, the Town Square is simply a little area to loiter without getting in trouble.
00
[ ]Beach
Though not an ocean, there is a sandy beach due to the resident lake (not the one near the school, thankfully). Due to the small population, the beach isn't usually very crowded, which can be nice when you're trying to get away.
00
[ ]Lulu's Café
This café looks as normal as the name might imply. Lulu is the owner, and pretty much only worker. No one pays attention to how long she's worked here, and yet how young she looks. Only a few students know, she's actually an elf. Students from the Academy can visit here as well as other downtown areas on weekends.

*Jobs available
Hired - Olivia
00
[ ]Raven's Nest
Strangely named, this night club is also strangely popular. On weekends students are not fully staff responsibility, so it's no wonder they get in so much trouble. Especially with a club in town. That's right, a night club, that almost any kid can manage there way into. People there are a little to... carefree. Students from the Academy can visit here as well as other downtown areas on weekends. Some have a habit of trying to sneak out at other times, however.
00
[ ]Anderson's Pets
Yep. The town has a small pet shop too. Where else would the students get their faithful pets? The Amazon? Actually, the school does have some parrots in the Aviary... The main part of the shop contains average animals, but those from the Academy know of the hidden part of the shop with less usual creatures. Just ask the owner what he has in stock.

-Pets must not exceed the size of a wyvern.
-Pets are not allowed to be brought to meals or classes and should remain in the Stables, Aviary, or Dorm rooms.

*Jobs available
00
[ ]Movies
The theater isn't quite as run down as you might expect. Why would you expect it to seem run down? Have you seen the movies that are playing? Still, it's a good place to meet up with people.

*Jobs available
00
[ ]Grave Yard
No town is complete without a cemetery right? And for this town being so small, it's a pretty decent sized grave yard. Which could actually be the explaination. The local kids like to hang out here on dares and stuff. Our students like to hang out there for... possibly similar reasons. Students from the Academy can visit here as well as other downtown areas on weekends. Although for unknown reasons, some try to get here on weekdays.
00
Neighborhood
[ ]Housing
For students that don't wish to live at the school, have parents, or are old enough to buy/rent a place, this is your second option. Not all the houses are very big and beautiful, but they're a place you could call home.
00
[ ]Park
That's right, the downtown area, for being so underpopulated, has a pretty decent playground. A potential for students to scare the crap out of small children? Perhaps. Students from the Academy can visit here as well as other downtown areas on weekends.
